Anyone here ever taken HGH? I heard Jen Aniston spends 1K/month on hers.

It looks like it is making her nose bigger and her chin longer.

Side effect is Acromegaly, when some face bones get large and distorted.

I think what you are seeing in her is just aging related. The side effect of HGH that changes the bones produces a “caveman”-like appearance - it would be evident in all the bony structure not just the nose and chin

At any rate, you would have to take a LOT to get that side effect - like bodybuilders sometimes do to get bulk. Doubtful that she would be dosing like that in the first place.

Regarding cost - it’s very expensive and not covered by insurance (obviously ). 1K per month wouldn’t really be a super-high dosage.

The stuff is super-scrutinized in terms of who prescribes it. I took HGH for a while and my physician then would not write a Rx, would only dispense in their practice because of that... and eventually they stopped selling it altogether and switched patients to peptide therapy, which stimulates your body to produce its own GH (instead of injecting the GH directly). Much less expensive, and works just as well.

I think there is a mythology about GH that is bigger than the actuality. For me, I feel better overall but it’s not like I suddenly got ripped and buff, or turned back my visual age 10 years.
