Have you tried taking digestive enzymes away from meals to act as an anti inflammatory and to speed healing? Traumeel gel and drops (take orally with water) also can work wonders to help get rid of bruising fast.

can you elaborate?

Vitimins def help - 2-3 gr of C

I am a little over 3 months post-op from my submalar/nlf cheek microlipo. I had a major blackeye on the side that had the most work done that lasted for a good 3 weeks, had to cover it with dermablend, then powder over that followed by bronzer to blend it into my facial skin. I am good with makeup and no one ever asked or said anything, although I'm sure in broad daylight a trained eye could see something was up so I wore a baseball cap. After the blackeye faded it turned into a dark circle and is still there at 3 months post and hasn't seemed to get any lighter. Now I have to wear MAC studio fix concealer under that eye followed by a bronzer to blend it in and it's getting on my last nerve. I did the whole Arnica pellets thing in the beginning and even the cream (trust me, that cream does NOTHING so don't even bother with it). Is there anything that I can do or is this something permanent? Some people said it can take 8 months or so which I can live with, but if it's permanent I'll be upset.

It will fade. Don't worry it just takes time. I had a deep VBEAM bruise - like black type of bruising that slowing burned off. I am super fair and it really showed. But was discolored for awhile.

My suggestion if your impatient and don't mind spending 75.00 on an eye cream. Go buy Murad eye cream "lighten and brighten"- it has vitamin c and hydroquine 1.5%. Use it for the next three months then take a break from it. It has really reduced my dark circles and taken away a freckle - quickly too. I am really picky about products - won't use anything that does not get results. This one works. Dr Leslie Bauman said of all the eye creams this one does work on dark circles. I gave it shot - she was right.
Sephora carries it especially the big one in times square and clyde's on madison upper east side. This cream might help it fade faster. i alternate bw this and retina a.

My friend had the staining after her bleph.(the moon type bruises.) When it was still there after 4 or 5 months, Her PS prescribed obagi and Obagi blender, just on the bruises and she said it worked.

KK, Dr G only prescribed 500mg twice a day for me.(1000 total) I wonder why you are doing 1000 2X a day (2000 total)??
I also hate taking anything, but I still take it now as well. Also I had NO bruising other than some slight yellowing that I almost didn't notice on my neck. It was amazing even with a genioplasty. You'd think with the jaw being adjusted, there would be bruising.

Good thing about vitamin c unlike vitamin a - it is hard to "overdose".Gunter puts people pre and post 2000mg a day after nose surgery too.

the body gets rid of the vitamin c doesn't store it like A.

Have it lasered otherwise it could be permanent. I had mine from Radiesse and if it is not for laser I would still have it 3 years later. How I know I would? There is small spot left untouched and therefore still pigmented blue.Be careful with these bruises they are basucally tatoo-like.
