Hi everyone! I've scanned the board for recommendations on a good doc that would be local (I live in Washington, DC.), but haven't had any luck (no one's results have impressed me TOO much). NY is always an option too. I'm curious - Can anyone suggest who would be a good choice to consider doing my midface lift? I'm 25 and have naturally saggy cheeks. Below is a pic. Thanks in advance you all Erbou

Erbou the cheeks dont look saggy , imo seems more like buccal fat. by the way you have Beautiful skin

Oh Gosh I think my skin is horrible, but thank you SO much! Buccal fat huh? Hmmm, off to do my research on that. Still, you think it would be silly to get a slight lift? I want the cheek area tighter, to show more definition from 3/4 angles...

It's likely you don't need a midface lift and the photo is not enough to determine the structure of the face that could be doing that to the cheek.
I've been having problems with computer since May. I'm on a loaner now and still waiting for a new one. If I don't get back to you or am not on board, it would be most likely due to another computer problem.

Erbou, one option is to go from the inside of the mouth and suction out the buccal fat that way.

Ah, thank you so much for the responses. This is VERY helpful. I've now done a bit of research on buccal fat removal... I think this IS the best option for me. Has anyone here had the procedure?

I would not suggest buccal fat removal......ESPECIALLY if you are female (i cant tell your gender from that pic) as it will make you look gaunt and more masculine. But even if you are male...dont get buccal fat removal.
If anyone here knows anything about SEO or ad optimization and would like to make a little money PM me.

That makes a ton of difference

Thank you for all the responses, guys. I'm normal weight, but I think Moji's suggestion of getting my fat percentage down is something I'll try before surgery. I keep reading conflicting things about buccal removal AND mfl's, so we'll see if cheeks slim w/ simple weight loss.
Thanks again! :)

I wrote a 5 page blog and took tons of before and after pics describing how I felt throughout the whole process, but after a virus struck my pc everything was lost when I needed to reboot. Cant be bothered to make a whole new one to be honest, maybe in the future.
If I am not mistaken, I remember you to have a whole line of procedures too right? Oh boy, if you are anything like me then you are set for a extremely wild roller-coaster ride. I can give you a protip though, whatever it is you're looking for in PS surgery, you will have to do allot of work on yourself from the inside too. My life changed drastically after the surgery man, not even in my wildest dreams would I have thought it would take such a turn.
Anyways, beware of the possible sides of the plastic surgery because it will take a heavy toll on your psyche and emotional state. To put it blunt, I went from a 3 on a 1-10 scale to a 7,5 also because I worked out like crazy tanned allot, and used some steroids. At first I was not sure how to go about my newfound confidence/personality and was just extremely happy.
After that I became really enraged and upset because people were so incredibly shallow and were so fixated in looks, almost lost my faith in humanity man. All of a sudden girls left and right were paying attention to me, people would ask me out to tons of places, I started get calling to do stuff because I was the 'cool' buffed dude to hang out with...
Were the fuck where all these people before my surgery? Why was I always kept out of the loop and nobody wanted to talk with me/payed attention to what I did and say? Anger boiled up because of this and I started getting a big resentment against allot of people treating them like shit. Especially womans got the big payload of anger, I had a new chick every week and crushed allot of hearts, treating them and a whole list of other people like absolute crap, started to drink and party wayyyyy too much but eventually realized I cant go on with it.
Started to do some self reflecting, allot of reading, some counseling and put school on a hold to travel.
The last 2 years have been a turbulent storm of emotions, depths and laughter but I can easily say they were the best 2 years of my life until now because before that It seems like I didn't even have emotions/expressed them and was a walking zombie.
Anyways long read and im doing fine now again and back in school, but beware of the problems I had and not to fall into the same trap. Work on your personality and strengthening your psyche for the coming changes instead of only thinking about the exterior changes
Will lurk from time to time to see if your operations went well ;)

Steroids wreak havoc on your emotions- not just the roid rage you always hear about but they also can change someone's personality. This is not only while you're on them, but also for a long time after you've stopped using them. It takes a long time to recover emotionally (for some people). I had a friend who tried to commit suicide while using Deca.

I did my research on steroids and used them really mildy, there has been scientific studies regarding roids and the rage, and its completely bullshit in 9-10 times I also used them long before my operation and was fine, deca is a pretty heavy steroid btw I didnt touch stuff like that. They did gave me some awesome gains though :p

So you got plastic surgery and now women want you that didnt want you before? One more example of how its LOOKS not personality that plays the biggest role. Another nail in the coffin for the "its your personality if you can't get girls" argument. Oh wait...theres so many nails in said coffin that there's no room for said nail. I think its time to burry the coffin once and for all.

it is YOUR personality in particular..not ONE'S personality

y, you seem to feel the need to prove your point at any cost and it makes you look foolish. You jumped on basically one sentence in Moji's post, all the while ignoring the rest of his thoughts and advice. You need to go back and read Moji's post in it's entirety... slowly, taking time to read each line he thoughtfully bothered to write.

Yes Y missed the point once again. Another nail in the coffin of why Y has never had a GF. A bad listener is a bane to women. So, let's bury this coffin, Y has a personality that is not conducive to having/keeping a GF. While PS may/may not make you more noticeable to others, it does not always make you happier. It does not make you a nicer person nor does it magically transform a bad personality or change the inner person who has twisted views on women and society. We are who we are and looking model perfect may attract others, but it may not attract the right people nor people who will stay around if the inner person is not worthy. **Note: Moji mentioned counseling and changing his life in other ways that attributed to his happiness.
