Something strange is going on with PMs. Some are getting PMs intended for others, some PMs are not capable of being opened, some look like they never went to the intended recipient and stay in the sent box unopened when they were really sent to the recipient and opened. These are very strange issues, unless the admin module has been hacked or something. VERY ODD.

Your PM went to Anna, instead of me! The one I never got. She forwarded it to me.

Also, it is taking up to a minute for a PM to post. All very odd.

Yes, I got the PM this time and responded. Hope you get it!

I've just called tech teddy to tell him about your post articulating this situation.

Sometimes people hit the PM button to the post ABOVE where they mean to hit though. I've seen that done before where someone hits the PM button above the post when the screen is scrolled in such a way that the PM button to someone elses post looks like it belongs to the poster you want to PM.

Also, this happens to be COINCIDENT with a new sign up PJS seemingly 'trolling for trouble' on Dean's rhinoplasty board, committing herself to getting his board 'closed down' and THEN seeking entry on MY board. After this person e-mailed me seeking entry to my board, I told them there is usually a $10 contribute for new sign ups BUT there was no amount of money one could give me to house the same type of conflict she was kicking up on Dean's board. After I told her that, she lodged a post on YTF intimating I was 'unethical' to ask for a contribution and is making a drama out of that on their board now. Basically, I spotted a TROUBLE MAKER, and denied them access to my board. The person clearly has a history/proclivity for wanting to make trouble for board admins by:

A: Making an open statement on Dean's board that she would do her best to 'close it down'
B: Making statements on YTF that I was 'unethical' to ask for a contribution

Subsequent to that, I suspended her account so she could not use the PM function or any board resources (which she is making a drama about over there now) because I don't want someone like that screwing around on my board or having access to the PM function.

What I now need to determine is if the PM function is PRESENTLY working OK and also bring the matter of this trouble maker to Tech Teddy to see if there is a relationship or just a coinciedence with the PM function not working properly.

I've been having problems with computer since May. I'm on a loaner now and still waiting for a new one. If I don't get back to you or am not on board, it would be most likely due to another computer problem.

To help me evaluate the problem with PMs, I'd be grateful if anyone having problems could send me a couple of additional details by email. (Of course, we don't want to use PMs for this!) Helpful details would be:
(1) When did you send the PM?
(2) Whom did you send the PM to?
(3) Who received the PM (if you know)?
My email address is: TechTeddyBear@MissJFacialPlasticSurgery.com
Thanks!

i see this problem was resolved?
a PM meant for another was sent to the wrong person because the sender hit the wrong e-mail button

You PM'ed someone who no longer had the same user name.

Yes, Miss J, I think it was a confluence of coincidence---odd but true. Sorry for the red flags.
