Fine, if the patient wants to have their face made public and also be a 'captive audience' to the doctors 'default' procedures.

Thing is the advice he gives relates back to what HE does. For example, although the suggestion for a chin implant is something I would agree too, the next task would be to relate the change in the morph to a TYPE or style of an implant. Now if the doctor is doing that, of course the implant is going to default to the type he puts in. Next he advises her to get liposuction under the chin and along the jaw line; another 'default' to what he does. It's very likely that that patient could benefit from more extensive chin/neck work done in a face lift which could take a doctor poised to do that and with advanced techniques, perhaps things that particular doctor does not do.

In essence, although she got some free advice from the doctor, it's was not really an extensive full analysis and it resolves back to what that particular doctor can do.

Sorry to say but a lot of prospective patients have things that can be 'targeted' to a VARIETY of doctors who do things totally 'in sync' with what the patient has and are known to be good at that thing. The challenge is really to MATCH UP the patient with the 'on target' doctor and procedure and one can't really expect the doctor being asked to make that match due to the inherent bias of their suggestions all resolving to their own work.

I've been having problems with computer since May. I'm on a loaner now and still waiting for a new one. If I don't get back to you or am not on board, it would be most likely due to another computer problem.

I agree with Miss J.

Thing is, when it's time for me to get more PS, I've got to find a one-stop doc as I don't want to be put under (anesthesia) multiple times and go to multiple docs. I'm hoping to find one as competent as possible in all of the areas I want/need addressed. I'm just not prepared (nor can I afford) to fly from coast to coast to two or three different docs. I will never have the luxury of that much time or money, I'm afraid--unless I win the MegaMillions tonight--I splurged a whole five bucks, so I better win!

LOL, he's described as the "Entrepenurial MD".

I just hope the subject gets that neck work done! She needs it!

I am satisfied having found two surgeons who seem to deliver the results for me: one does JUST lipo, the other does facial work and fillers/Botox. Both are within "driving time" from where I live (but require overnight stays in their respective cities.) That's as good as it gets for me.

Oh, and I have to give a gold star to the two other docs I see: one does just sclerotherapy for my leg capillaries; the other is doing the Gemini Iridex treatments on my face.

My Xmas stocking runneth over. I am content.
