Photo and Morphs made from your photos:

1: Your photos should not be much larger than 500 X 800 pixels. Photos too much in excess of this will be deleted as they corrupt the visibility of the board requiring readers to scroll too much horizontally to read the text.

The horizontal width is particularly important and it should not be much wider than 500 pixels. Many photos need to be RESIZED in a photo editor before uploading them here. In some cases my helpful 'editors'; DCNGA or kk25 will resize your photo for you. But I'd rather not burden my editors with doing something that you can do on your own time before uploading photos. If I find photos that are too large (horizontally), I can't read any of the posts in the entire string due to the large photo necessitating horizontal scrolling just to read text. So, if that happens, I'll need to delete your photo so I'm able to read and address the other entries within the whole string.

2: You may use the "attach" button on your post to upload a photo from your private computer files. To use this function, you first make a post with text and later go back into it and hit the "attach" button to enter your photo from your files. You can later 'detach' them when you want by hitting "attach" again where the menu pop up will allow you to delete your photos from your post.

2A: You may also provide the LINK to your photos (from another website) and if you want them to appear in the window; highlight the link with your mouse and then click one of the ICON buttons you see on your post: (the one with depiction of mountain and sun) and it will surround your link with the right brackets to make it appear as a photo within your post.

3: Sometimes, to HELP a poster, I or my members might MORPH your photo as a visual way of giving you advice. However, it is something I WILL NOT DO unless the morphs stays up. That is to say, I don't allow for people coming to my board, getting free morphs and advice with them and THEN wanting the morphs deleted. That said, if you feel you would not want a morph based on your photo to remain on my site, you MUST write in your post WITH your photo: "DO NOT COPY"

NO MORPHS to those who would later want to have them removed!!!

4: Free or 'gratis' morphs done here by either me or another member not only benefit you but also OTHER readers who might later hap on them while researching my board. Hence, any morph done of you, needs to STAY UP on the board. That said IF you would NOT want your morph (because it's basically a photo of you) staying on board, you MAY NOT have a morph done on board. You may only benefit by the free morphing process on board IF morph can stay up on the board.

4A: Quite often, either me or my helpful 'photoshopers' will elect to morph your photo as to give you visual advice and to ALSO help future readers who might wish to have that morph up for reference. With regard to the potential help to others, it is a FUTILE TASK to morph your photo when you later want it removed after you get the morph. For that reason, I'm removing the option to get a free morph on here to those who later would wish to remove it.

4B: IF you are posting your photos for feedback BUT you later wish to remove them, you MUST write: "DO NOT COPY" on your post where you introduce your photos. In that way, you WILL NOT get a morph and there will be no extra admin task for me to later address your request to have it removed.

5: Admin FEES to remove a morph in cases where people get morphs BUT don't write: "Do not copy" on their post in which they introduce their photos will be $25 to my PAYPAL @ MissJ521

So, DO pay particular attention to this TOS policy on posting photos for feedback (which is often visual via a morph).

I've been having problems with computer since May. I'm on a loaner now and still waiting for a new one. If I don't get back to you or am not on board, it would be most likely due to another computer problem.

What I'm trying to cut down on here is newbies coming in for aesthetic advice, getting a morph and then PMing me: "Please remove my morph" as it's just an extra admin task for me. Not to mention, my computer is always running slow, having problems ect. What i would like is for people seeking advice VIA their photos to MENTION in their posts HOW LONG they wish to keep their photos up or give some idea that they will want to remove them, later down the line. In that way, at least someone who could do a morph, has some 'heads up' that they would later be asked to remove it. What usually happens is that people don't write 'don't copy' or don't say: 'I'm wanting to take down my photos soon' etc, they get a morph. Even if the morph is done by another person, if that person is not around, i'm the one asked to remove it and of course, the direct LINK to where it is is never included in the request and it's just extra 'admin' duties I'd rather not have to do just because someone fails to mention they later want to remove their photos.

In the case of photos uploaded from someones personal computer files, they always have the option to remove them themselves which is fine. However, when someone makes a morph, it involves copying their photos to do that and permission to copy thier photo (to do a morph) is sort of 'implied' when they don't say: 'don't copy' or don't mention they will be wanting to remove them soon. Yet later, after they get the morph, they want it removed.

Basically, I, myself, am happy to provide free morphs on here (when I can) but I don't like the unanticipated 'timing' of the later request to remove them and the extra admin tasks of doing that which is something I'm called to do for not only the ones I do but also the ones other members do for someone who later wants thier photos removed.

Hence, it will be needed for those seeking feedback based on thier photos to either give some TIME LINE as to tell people they will only be keeping up for a short while or to write; 'do not copy' in thier entry posts.

It has to do with copyright and derivitive works from a copyright. Like a morph is a derivitive work of a photo that (usually) the owner has the copyright to and is the 'work product' of the person doing the morph. The owner of the copyright (person in photo) needs to give some kind of notice before hand as to how long a "derivitive work" (a morph) can remain on board. If the copyright holder does not want his photo remaining on the board indefinitely, he/she must give NOTICE of that BEFORE HAND by writing; 'Do not copy' OR mentioning that they plan on removing thier photos soon. In that way people doing a derivitave work (a morph--thier work product) based on the copyright can DECIDE IF they want a situation where their work product will need to be removed. No notice as to the copyright holders intention for removing the photos soon, implies that the person's work product CAN stay up and to avoid that implication, copyright holders need to give some kind of heads up as to how long they intend to keep their photos up.

I've been having problems with computer since May. I'm on a loaner now and still waiting for a new one. If I don't get back to you or am not on board, it would be most likely due to another computer problem.
