No thoughts. My brain exploded with the infinite number of photos.

Her tragus looks ok considering that (at least in the first 75 pics) it is still swollen. What is distracting to me, however, is that her lower earlobe is stretched to an angle more parallel to her jawline afterwards. When I see an ear like that, I always look for facelift scars.

Yes, yes I agree. That angle is a dead giveaway in her afters. I think I see that distorted angle in 95% of the face lifts that I see. Dr David Rosenberg in NY has that outcome more often than not.

I wish I knew who did Susan Sarandon's face lift.

I think her scars are ok. They are pretty average. I have seen better, but I've seen worse.

I would bet it was a NY surgeon several years back.

I thought she had a recent face lift within the last 2 years. It would be interesting to know if she went to Baker if that's who you mean, but because of his age it's hard to know.

I haven’t kept up with her as of late, but trying to remember what she looked like during the presidential race, when she was stumping for Bernie Sanders. She looked good from what I remember. I’m also remembering a sideburn shot of her where she was starting to look like Sophia Loren with that stretched lateral face and no sideburn. I tried to get a link to work with her ear, but it won’t work. Google “Susan Sarandon ear” and look at the google images. An example of what I’m talking about is around 15 pictures in.

I also remember her in the past having baggy/bulgy lower lids. Whoever corrected that for her did a really good job.

She’s still very pretty IMO. For whatever reason, I’ve always thought that Baker or Matarrasso was her facelift surgeon.

I recently learned from someone "in the know" that the guy mentioned by Zoey really f'd up "someone's" face.

I can't hint at the specifics. But, suffice to say, don't be too tempted!

Edit: mentioned in the first post of this thread.

How does that odd ear angle happen after a facelift?

It’s from too much skin being removed and/or skin from too low being pulled up into the area at the base of the ear. The tension from that weighs down on the ear and more or less works the bottom of the ear more forward. It is somewhat unavoidable, as most get at least a tiny bit of ear movement. But, it doesn’t have to be as pronounced. It’s often a problem associated with a lift where more tension is placed on the skin and not the SMAS layer.

This surgeon often gets that result with the ears.....this patient seems happy tho and the ears don't seem to bother her. One patient of his did have Pixie ears and he corrected it for her with that incision around the earlobe. She was also happy and just thought it was par for the course with a facelift. I hear he has had a few unhappy patients and isn't very accepting that he got things wrong in those cases. Not sure if those reviews are removed .

Zoey,

Might I ask why don't you have any 'thoughts' to share about the link drop?
