Minos123 from MMH wants to know if his NOSE is his main profile problem. The nose is not the problem. It is the lower jaw and chin. Lower jaw advancement (max fax surgery) in addition to chin advancement would be needed to balance the profile.

To MMH members: If I see you are a MAX FAX case, not much I can do to help you on there because there is some kind of tech issue where I can't upload my morphs to SHOW 'what I'm talking about'. Also, no catagory for that there. So, I've left this maxfax section 'open' for MMH members in the event, I elect to provide feedback.

I think maybe he needs to fill the tear trough area to lessen the height from the profile. That's why you see women who went crazy filling that area appear to have a very short nose at the root and bridge on profile.

The base of his nose looks a little flat, not sure how the base looks from the front. He has the opposite of alar retraction.

What a great eye you have, MissJ -- the morph demonstrates big improvement from advancing his jaw.

Possibly but there is a shadow running through that area. So, not the best pose to show it. As to the nose, he thought it was his main problem which it wasn't.

thanx greg,

He thought his main issue was the nose. Some others said it was the chin which was PART of the issue. The other part was the jaw.

I wonder if he could get away with just a down and forward SG, if he wanted?

That can work when someone's lips are lined up better.

At this point, it does not matter what he could 'get away with' or what else he could do to his face to look better.

This is just one more of the MANY examples of someone posting on MMH where I go out of my way to help them which I did when I saw others were telling him it was 'only' the chin that was the problem. He saw my post there linking to here, came here and just took the info without even thanking me which he had time to do on MMH.

He looks so much better in the morph. He's very lucky to get your advice and a morph....he should at least return to say thank you. Maybe he's just a little late replying and will return.

Meeka,
He posted on MMH. He 'checked in' there to see my link here. Came here to see the advice. But said nothing on MMH as to acknowledge.
There is some glitch with MMH where I can't upload my morphs there but everyone else can upload a photo. So, I put it here.

This sort of thing has happened before. I see someone on there who I feel could use some extra info that they are not getting on there, they receive it, but don't acknowledge with a 'thanks'. Type of think that makes me dis-inclined to offer any advice on MMH even though I'm the mod there. It's usually young males (9/10) who think they need one thing but would benefit from another thing different from what they think it is. So, next one is on his own.

This guy received great advice -- it's amazing that he just took it and didn't say thank you.

It's sad that people lack the common courtesy to acknowledge your efforts. A simple "thank you" can go a long way.

Thanx Mike and Greg.

It's posters like that where I've gotta say to myself; 'Why Bother?'
