It was great to see KB win an Oscar for best director. She is 58 and looks pretty natural to me, maybe subtle work.
She is dating the 37 year old screenwriter of her film. Do the math on that one.

Yipes! I actually screamed in my mouth seeing that first shot of her.

Now, I'm all for a female director taking the prize ... but the lighting in that shot made me think of a Seinfeld episode ... you know the one!

Gee, I know every Seinfeld episode like the back of my hand but I'm stumped on this one. It's not the Dolores episode, is it?

The episode is called "The Strike" (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Strike_%28Seinfeld%29)

And Jerry's date, Gwen, looks both scary and attractive ... depending on how the light strikes her!

Ring a bell?

I thought Kathryn looked pretty good even on the red carpet, with natural light. She looked a lot younger and healthier than James Cameron's current wife, who is 10 years younger. I think Kathryn MUST have had some work done to look so good.

Wow, when I saw her on the red carpet, I thought she was late 30's/early 40's! I thought James Cameron's wife looked like she was in her early 60's!!!!!!

I knew he had been married to Linda Hamilton, but he has been married 5 times so far! Geez, maybe he should just give that idea up.

When i was younger - I worked with Susie Amis aka now "Susan" cameron. It was on a film - in small town middle america. Susie was the star and we go on location. The locals would stop and ask questions - very sweet. they would want to know who the 'star" was and one time I pointed to Susie - One of them said "She's a movie star?!. She looks like she just fell out the ugly tree and hit every branch on the way down."

Although she was model - she always had a different look. Like very plain jane pale red head with freckles everywhere- like she looked really good without make up. One those who looked better rolled out of bed than with make up because she looked painted.

BUT now - that look does not work. Wow at the golden globes (on tv) I was shocked to see how she has aged and has done nothing. I mean nothing. Her hair is no longer red even. Like go to colorist AT LEAST because it is not like she has that great silver hair either.

Oh, well JC will leave her someday. He left kathryn for Linda H and Linda H for "SUSAN"

Leopard doesn't change his spots no matter how many babies you pop out.

BTW loved KB speech - gracious and humble and actually excited to be there - unlike "I am so over it Clooney" because I not going to win tonight ! Aghhhh...

. LOVE HER>Way to go Bigelow!!

I wonder if her low body fat has contributed to the wrinkles.

Wow Cybergirl. If she sees that photo of herself looking like a Sharpei, she will never - ever! - smile that broadly again. Geez, you can see her collarbones poking out. Ow.

Hey Bugjune, what are you doing living out in the boondocks? You should be on stage doing stand up. Get moving!

She has always been rail thin. A fight to keep it on - I mean she used to eat a lot. She complained about being that way.

I think Bugjune is a famous (and one of my favorite) columnists.

I've been having problems with computer since May. I'm on a loaner now and still waiting for a new one. If I don't get back to you or am not on board, it would be most likely due to another computer problem.

Columnist? I had no idea. That's cool. Can we get details without giving too much away-like what do you write about?

I'm just saying I imagine her as such.
