Does anybody here use double stick tape to their upper eye lids to hold in the skin so it looks like a bleph?
It is supposed to work like those stick on things they sell for an instant bleph. I need to get some as my goggles really mark up my upper lid skin and makes me look like 10 years older after swimming.
I've been having problems with computer since May. I'm on a loaner now and still waiting for a new one. If I don't get back to you or am not on board, it would be most likely due to another computer problem.

I bought the eye magic. I only occasionally need it on my right eye (I guess when my allergies are particularly bad). I cut the eye magic into 3rds and also in half. They are very thin so cutting sometimes destroys the rest of the 'tape'. If I use a whole tape on my eye you can see the tape. Either I have very small eyes or the lid isn't terribly droopy yet. When my eye is really puffy I might need it cut in half lengthwise then in half widthwise. My left eye isn't as affected by my allergies for some reason. I have also used nexcare tape to make my own. The homemade ones on the tutorial link Ryan provided (thank you Ryan that was interesting) would be far to long and wide for my eye but thats why we have scissors. It's nice that we can tailor make our own 'products'.

I've tried Elmer's glue before but it's hard to get it 'neat'.

Say wha?!?! I've never heard of putting double-sided tape on the eyelids! I also swim regularly, and I wear a snorkel mask, so y'all can imagine how absolutely gorgeous I look after I peel the mask off 40 min later! Yes, I have a permanent crease that rings my upper face which exactly matches ... the MASK! Those creases take easily 4 hours to melt away. I pretend that anyone I meet is impressed to see an avid snorkeler. But then a little voice in my head says, "They're wondering why you look like you pressed your face against the dryer hose for an hour!" So do tell: how/where does one apply the tape?! Not that I'd have the patience to put it on every time I swim. I Bug U

It would probably come of in water. It's something to use on dry land. You stick it near the crease and hope it 'uptakes' the excess skin to the upper lid.

You would apply it like they apply the 'Eye Magic' strips: http://www.eyemagic.net/apply.htm

OK, got it! Thanks for the link to the "how-to" page. Yeah, I'd need about a roll of duct tape to pull my face back and diminish that snorkel ring after my swim. Feh. ================================================= I Bug U

The goggle marks last a long time on me too. Ya, I could use an upper bleph but doubt I could heal from it at this point.

Miss J, Why don't you think you could heal from a bleph?
Because you use goggles when swimming, or because you swim so often?
As far as age and healing, you are closer to a Spring chicken than a...Hmmm...a Winter chicken..so that would not affect your healing.

Miss J, What about using the type of 'goggles' that snorkelers use? The whole face tape might avoid causing the eye issue.

Because I would have to come back to my APARTMENT afterwards and experience the STRESS of noise and construction as I do daily which is affecting my health. sammi wrote:Miss J, Why don't you think you could heal from a bleph?

You can get those eye tapes here for dirt cheap in Chinatown or Richmond. They are very popular with Asian girls to create a more western looking double eyelid.
 Redheads have more fun.
