From what I have read on Carboxytherapy treatments it is used to destroy fat cells but my doctor also said he uses it for loose wrinkled skin.....how can the same product achieve both? Carboxy is injection of carbon dioxide. Has anyone had any experience with this?
Thank you

Never heard of it, but it does not sound like something I would even remotely consider. It sounds 'iffy' and imprecise to me. Do a lot of research and don't just take the opinion of one doctor to make your decision.

I've had many carboxytherapy sessions here in Mexico. It's been around since the 1930's in France but is new in the U.S. It was painful but did help my cellulite. I'm planning to go for another round of sessions.
Are you more interested in fat burning or skin tightening? I believe it is most effective for cellulite and skin tightening.

What do they do during that kind of treatment?
I've been having problems with computer since May. I'm on a loaner now and still waiting for a new one. If I don't get back to you or am not on board, it would be most likely due to another computer problem.

Oh, he is bald and little with glasses boyish face like a cariture- I always see his picture in Elle magazine. He is cosm. derm. Elle magazine had article on it or Vogue I believe in the last 4 months or so. I will see if I can find it. I was interested in learning more about this rather then meso again. I had mesothearapy for cellulite on my legs with this dr NYC who trained in france that all the socialites and models go to.. he used to share the office with the famous nutrionist guy that now charges 20,000dollars for consult!!! Oz Garcia . Anyway it was fun to see all the people in the waiting room - Kimora Lee - was b@tshite cray cray. Anyway back to the meso - I didn't eat lightly before like i was supposed to got nauseous almost fainted - thank god I was lying down. It was so painfull but it worked. Bruising was really bad but thinking about doing it again. He has the best cream that is chalked full of the stuff that he uses in the meso but topically- it works better than any stuff i have tried it is expensive, BUT if your going to beach or going to wear shorts. Slap this on -wrap your thighs in saran wrap for 30mins elevate if possible and BANG the dimples go away!!!! Love it!

MissJ wrote:What do they do during that kind of treatment? Its actually carbon dioxide and its a machine with needle attached.....dr injects smalls amounts into areas being treated. No pain at all and there is supposed to be no risks other than redness or maybe bruise a little at the insertion site. I did not bruise at all. There are a few doctors in NY that are doing it now. I am trying it to tighten the skin but there are also claims it can help with dark undereye circles. Interesting!

Thanks. Seems like a lot of injections would be needed to an entire thigh area though.
