New member sign up has been turned off to conserve resources, aka extra time and expenses to me that arise from too many memberships given that I run no ads here to offset expenses.
When the open membership is closed, the protocol is to write to me:
MissJ521@aol.com telling me you have no issue with making a $15 PAYPAL contribution to: MissJ521 (my PAYPAL account) or would be happy to support my board. When that is the case, I shall find an unoccupied account to place you in and with it, you will be availed to all the board resources, i.e. be able to view the boards not viewable by "guests", be able to participate in posting etc and I will also give list you with the credit of being a "private contributor" to my board.
Since my board has a high population of people who know each other or have a direct 'history' with me where I know them, this also helps established members feel more comfortable that I'm not letting in too many 'anon fly ins'.
When it's turned back on, the new sign up 'status' will be: "Unapproved write to
MissJ521@aol.com". Parties whom I don't directly invite to become members will be asked to put in a $15 PAYPAL contribute to MissJ521 to help defray board costs and will also be given credit as a "private contributor" to my board.
My board is a mixture of my PRIVATE CLIENTS, my past 'board buddies' from other boards who I have great familiarity with, extremely knowledgeable patients, people I "cherry pick" (personally invite) from other places and financial contributors like you.

I've been having problems with computer since May. I'm on a loaner now and still waiting for a new one. If I don't get back to you or am not on board, it would be most likely due to another computer problem.
