I’ve noticed this glut of dermatological procedures everywhere now.

Once upon a time we were pioneers. Now facial alteration is so mainstream. Very very weird.

I know what you mean. My IG is flooded with posts about thread lifts. That has to be the worst procedure ever!

A friend’s girlfriend had a threadlift about 6 weeks ago and I just saw her. I couldn’t tell a single difference in her looks.

And I’ve read of many people complaining about strange puckering spots.

It seems people do anything for an immediate fix and end up paying more and having more complications instead having surgery. Everyone seems so frightened of facelifts and neck lifts.


You have all these dermatologists doing borderline surgery. They have no surgical residency. There’s one BH doc who is sloppy and on the verge of having a disaster with his patients. I will post the link

I look at his feed every now and then and it does seem like he is getting pretty aggressive at times. He is also outrageously expensive according to a friend of mine.

I tried Jason Emer a couple of times for laser treatments; he runs his office like a sales factory with his staff pressuring you to buy his skin care products (for huge extra $) as an add-on to the laser treatment. It is to a level shamelessness that is almost shocking. Also, in my opinion he is much more skilled in social media promotion than actual good quality medical care.
