I have severe rosacea and many capillaries on cheeks, nose and above my lips. While I was at Dr Lam's for lip reduction he noticed my skin and said he could help me out with the veins. Since I was there and wanted to see what was in his repertoire I said I'd try it. He has a Gemini laser, don't know more specifically than that. But I actually got an improvement, which amazed me! My prior experience with laser treatments (v beam) was a huge disappointment and waste of money. Swelled up and my redness/caps rebounded back worse within days. Awful.

So I was super skeptical but he was confident so I gave it a try. I was also worried about tolerating the treatment cause those deep stings on the face are not pleasant. But they put numbing cream on for 20 minutes prior. And I had a pain pill from my lip reduction, lol. So it wasn't bad at all. About 2 days later I looked like a prize fighter tho. Huge bubbles of swelling under my eyes. But turned out to be worth it! I noticed a big reduction in redness on one cheek. And a blue vein I always was putting extra concealer on was gone. I was surprised and impressed. And he charged me less than the Derm had charged me for the V Beam treatment. So I think I will go back in a few months for a lip follow up and another Gemini treatment.

I remember bug having the same treatment after her facelift, she too was very satisfied with it. I believe it's meant to be used for something else but doctors use it for capillaries because it works so well.
